I am T.I.R.E.D

whoa. probably the first time I've ever whine openly in my blog.lol

Hi guys. hi everyone. whom ever you are.. reading my blog.

In this entry I just want to express that I AM TIRED LOL. work has been quite tiring lately for me. this week we had our internal audit, so the previous week we had to double our effort and review all our work not to mention we had so many inhouse courses to be organized outside of the office, too much traveling i tell you. next week I'll have to travel to KL for a meeting from 22-24 of nov and then I'll need to take up a flight on the 24th morning back to Bintulu and then on the afternoon I will be off to Sibu....DRIIVNG. and on the 2nd of Dec, the whole NIOSH crew from Bintulu branch will set off to Kuching, convoy by the way using 2 Hilux. Mind you 12 hours driving from Bintulu to Kuching and the road is not like the highway in Semenanjung. no R&R.. bumpy roads all the way... we all will be staying at Pullmans Hotel for a week. Its all for Borneo in OSH Conference in Kuching which will be held from 4-6th of Dec. The whole NIOSH Sarawak crew will be busy organizing it. Hope everything goes well. I'll update you on it in Dec.

am I complaining right now? does it look like Im complaining? lol. I hope not. well maybe there is a tiny bit feeling in side of me that keeps complaining everytime im tired but Im quite thankful actually. Im quite thankful because I enjoy what I am doing at the moment. I cant say I enjoy it 100% but yeah honestly atleast everymorning when I wake up & get ready for work, I can look forward for some laughter in the office. When you are working, one of the elements that decreases the stress at work is your co-workers. Im lucky that I have a bunch of happy-go-lucky people working in the same organization with me.

Another thing I love about my work now is that, we all (me, my colleagues & also my bos) love sports!! Yeah, good for us!!.. everyday after after work, around 730pm ish, we would gather at kkb (kelab kidurong bintulu) to play badminton or tennis. I have never ever played tennis before this and I cant believe it is soOOOO much fun playing tennis. Ive never played tennis before, ive only watched Prince of Tennis but hv never played the game before. Before this we only play badminton in kkb but ever since my bos bought 2 Wilson's tennis racket (he bought last month i think) we learn how to play tennis. Mind you, none of us know how to play tennis not even my bos who bought the racket. So we all learn by ourselves & also from the help of youtube lol. So after a few times going to kkb to play tennis my friend Huda convinced my bos to buy another 2 tennis racket and he DID, so we all can play. Nice bos he is. : )
Not that we werent capable of buying it ourselves, but owh well we are all too manjak manjak (manja) when our bos is around. He is like an eldest brother figure in our office.
Sports is another thing that can help you decrease your stress after work.

Tiredness can also bring stress at work. Sometimes when I am too tired, I tend to be silent. why? because if I speak it wont be so pleasing to hear : ). So i just keep silent and only speak when I need to.

those are a few activities & technique on how to de-stress from work that I do. just for sharing with all.

I know that all of us have our own stress to handle everyday. and some even everynight (night shift workers).. but what we all need to know is that even within these bunch of stress in our lives, we need to enjoy life to the fullest. never forget that work isnt everything in our life.
life is not just about working and earning money.

With Pain, There's Gain

Assalamualaikum w.b.t..

Alhamdulillah..here I am again, as healthy as I was when I wrote my last entry.

Read title, and understand it.

You see, we are very familiar with 'No Pain, No Gain' phrase but in order to make its optimistic and positive literally I change it with, 'With Pain, There's Gain'.. but non the less, both brings the same meaning..

This words actually relates alot to all the UTM students who are in their finally year, currently. Since we have all these Final Year Project (FYP) works to be done. Especially to the FKE's students like myself I have all these coding work, programming, circuit design, and trying to obtain certain components that are unavailable here in Malaysia. Thus, with all these works to be done and pressure along with it, its hard not to break down or felt like 'you'll never gonna complete your FYP'.
SIGH!

So lets relate the words with our FYP.. With all the Pain working on our FYP e.g programming a hundred times and still doesnt work, ordering components from overseas which cost hunderds of dollars including the shipping fee, checking your programming over and over and still cannot find whats wrong with it and also the pressure you get from your supervisor..
These are the pains you have to deal with, but bare in mind if you stay with pain, strive through it, work as hard as you can, you will somehow gain something from it. YOU WILL ALWAYS GAIN SOMETHING FROM IT, even a little if not alot.

I have suffered a lot of pain in life, tiny and huge pain both. During my secondary school, during matriculation year, through my internship period and also in my FYP works but in the end, I survived and everything is fine now. Nevertheless I learn a lot about people and myself through this short period of pain.

Of course we could 'live life easy' but it will certainly wont be as much as fun and profitable (gain) as living life with a little pain here and there.

Always keep this in mind, pain is ALWAYS temporary. (Long pain is utter rubbish and mostly related to heart broken love story thing. In this matter, just learn how to forgive and you’ll be fine.) At the end of the day, the gain is way too sweet in comparison to the short pain.

Allah tidak membebani seseorang melainkan sesuai dengan kesanggupannya…

(al-Baqarah: 286)

Allah tells us to believe Pain is something that we can endure and you must believe in Allah’s words. Always believe. For every suffering/pain we’re facing, at the end of the day, we will eventually GAIN something out of it. Cause as Muslims, we’re no losers. We are always the winner. We just need to work and believe.

notakakibangku: if you're having trouble with coding or programming and dont know what to do, you can always ask for help from your friends. you can also put your coding in an electronics forum and ask for help. people in the forum are actually nice and are there to help. trust me, it has help me alot with my fyp. here are some forums you can go to..

but dont expect to come there and ask for help with empty handed and expect them to write you the full code get everything working. if you do that then you are just a lazy bums.

Alhamdullilah

salam.

I do believe in the terms never ever give up.. try and try again.. and ever since UTM changed the grade point average code (2nd year, 1st sem), it has been quite hard for me to grab a spot in the Dean's List.

And today, Alhamdulillah I'm on the list again!.. Alhamdulillah.

Before this I got it twice during my 1st year and after that, eversince I got my 'kancil' (lol.. ternyata, padah akibat terlalu rajin merayau rayau dgn konco2ku lol) I've never got into the dean's list.. up until now. I am soooooooooooooooo thankful to Allah swt.

I got a message from Ham this morning, telling that the result is out. At first I was so lazy to get on9 and view my result cause i had a feeling that I'm just going to get another 3.33 (LOL).. you know, after seeing my senarai tampal a month before, i seriously didnt think I'm going to make it into the dean's list haha. but of course that didnt stop me from praying to Allah swt and still hoping I'll make it. tawakal jak la. I've struggled hard during studyweek and i'm not just gonna give up now. I've been sleepless during study week, and i believe that its not going to be a waste. I've been too far and I'm not just going to give up now.
And Alhamdulillah, my sleepless night, my struggle, all the caffeine that I've consumed (lol) was worth it.

What I would like to share here is that, Never Give Up. Try as hard as u can. if the 1st sem of 2nd yr u didnt make it, try again. if the 2nd sem of 2nd year also resulted the same, try again. if in the 1st sem of the 3rd year u didnt make it again, never give up! again work harder, struggle harder, doubled ur effort!. never stop praying to Allah swt for it. InsyAllah you WILL make it.

Cant wait to tell my parents, if it werent for them praying along for me & giving me everything to help me with my studies. I wouldnt have make it this far. Have to start fasting now, gotta repay my nazar.

cheers
