Well I thought Id start the entry with a funny quote so everybody can relate to what Im about to say. haha

I know most of us spent like 80% of our time of the day just surfing the facebook. God! to think it all started with something called 'facemash' lol. okay if you dont know what I was talking about, watch 'Social Network'. Just more evidence to prove that you cannot trust Jews. ops might be a lil racist there lol. owh well.

Everyday, after I came back home from work, Id just relax infront of my laptop just surfing the net. and when Im bothered to open my facebook, id just surf fb and read what other ppl post on their wall. not that I intentionally wanted to find out what each and everyone on my friends list thinks about. it just happened to be posted on my 'home' page aswell when you write on your walls. I hope everybody knows that already cause it doesnt seem some people knows that other ppl might be able to ready what they are writing about. hmm..

When you wanted to write something on your walls, you should think twice about what you are writing. Not just merrily answers the 'update status' box says. Do you know what it says in the update status box? yes, it says 'Whats on your mind?'.
Sometimes I dont know, maybe some of the people in my 'friends list' are just plain dumb or ignorant. gosh, I have re-check my friends list again. you know what they say,

"Tell me who your friends are, and I’ll tell you who you are."

Another tip on writing something useful on your fb wall. When you want to write something, dont just think about your self, think about others also. I knowwww, i knowwww 'ITS YOURR FB WALL' but yeah, if you want to look dumb and ignorant go ahead. post whatever on that 'what on your mind?' thing.

Nowdays, I have a set of new skills I've obtained just from reading what people write on their fb wall. I can see what type of person he or she is just by reading whatever they write on their walls : ) cool skills huh?! lol. you can actually know, who think twice about what they write and who just write whatever they want to write....

I like reading what smart people write on their walls. these type of people think twice about what they want to write on their fb wall. and most of the time what they wrote actually means something and useful to everyone who reads it....

so once again, think twice before writing on your fb wall and click the 'post' button. : )

Point of view.. as an interviewer... for the first time ever in my life...

Hi all...

it has been awhile..... I have been very busy with work, and work and work.. my pinggang is sakit sakit and my badan is also sakit sakit. why? because I have been working non stop (saturday & sunday) for 1 month and 1 week. thanks to SHO course haha.. aigooooo..

but anyway, working has been fun and yeah, its one of the reason why Im not really complaining on working during weekends. So many work, so much to do, and you dont notice the time just pass by like that. now my weekdays & weekends doesnt differ much. weekdays I work & weekends also I work. except during weekends you get to complete the jobs you've planed to do since there are no clients & customers calling & coming asking about this & that. so you get the job done!

wow! it has been like what? 3 months? 4 months? since I started working with NIOSH. cant believe it!... 4 months ago I was the interviewee for the niosh interview i went to. with my bos being one of the panels along with my executives college but now I am the interviewer for today interview session. its my first experience being an interviewer.

" Am I nervous? " .. you asked.
- well at first, when my bos appointed me as one of the interviewer. I cant believe in. Me? lol are you sure? and yes I was a bit nervous. What am I going to ask them?

then I thought to myself, the responsibility I hold as an interviewer which was to find the right person, the right candidate to fill in the empty spot. to be part of this working system. to be part of the family! I knew what I was going to ask them right away!..

On the day of the interview (which was today) I saw the interviewees list name. 39 candidates! I knew it was going to be a loooooooong day. I still remember my own interview at niosh. there were like 50 people coming for the interview, and I thought OMG. lol. I was the first candidate to be interviewed (lucky me I was the first to write my name on the list) and I finished the interview session at 11am. Mind you I came around 8 am and finish 3 hours after that. haih!

So back to the current timeline, some of the participants I know personally ( not some really, just one) most I dont know a thing at all. I was in charge of asking the basic questions. We finish around 3.30pm. this can be consider quite early coz we didnt have our lunch break. we went full swing haha. and then we evaluate all participants and finish everything around 4.45pm.

Here I just want to give a few tips to anyone who is going to go to an interview.. I have been an interviewee and also an interviewer. Ive been in both shoe so I learn alot about how the whole thing works and how we as interviewer select the right candidates.

1. First thing first, when you submit your resume to apply for the job, YOUR PASSPORT SIZED PICTURE play an important part. SURPRISINGLY! eventho its just a small thing, it can determine whether you will get a call or not!. You know how people always judge you on their first impression. so make sure your passport sized picture that you paste on your resume resembles how confident you are. and also how friendly you can be : )
of course those people who select you wants someone who they are able to be friends with since you are going to work together. so make sure you do have THAT look in the photo.

2. Dress nicely for the interview. so far, during the interview we conduct this morning, everyone dress nicely. good to see : ). and I must say some looks quite handsome haha. owh am single good for me. lol. first thing you do when you come into the room you must smile. make sure you dont wear FLIP FLOP! haiya. mau pigi jalan ka mau interview.

3. When the interviewer tell you to introduce your self, make most of the opportunity to START SELLING YOURSELVES!.. tell us everything about you. tell us everything about your academics, your school activities, your working experiences, tell us all about your x-factor, what makes you different than others, take your time. dont rush.
I was so frustrated when I tell the candidates to introduce themselves, they would just tell their name, age, school and thats it! it was like what 2 frekin minutes!!! or probably less.. and when I ask them "thats it??!", and they say 'sempoily' "yes". aigooooo... are you coming for an interview or what. you know when we've reach like the 30th interviewee, and they do short intro like that and when I ask them "that it?" and they sengih2, I felt like I want to say, "ok thats about it from us. thank you for coming.". haih you do felt frustrated you know. what interviewer want is at least EFFORT!

4. Some participants/ interviewee cant converse in english when we ask them to. So another tip is when the interviewer to show you something, a skill or whatever, at least you should try. Some participants today, when we asked them to try show us their english, they reluctantly say no or geleng2 kepala. You know this is baru interview dah geleng2 kepala. kalau suruh buat kerja nanti superior suruh buat kerja u geleng2 kepala, apa nak jadi sudah. aigoooooo. at least like I said, show us some effort! tak kisah la kalau english lintang pukang.

5. Another thing that frustrate me the most. jgn jawab sepatah sepatah. how can we evaluate you when you just answer "yes", "no", "ok". haih. when we cant evaluate you, we reject you straight away! express yourself!. be bubbly!.. be friendly!.. be our friends if you could.. elaborate your points. prove to us why you have those qualities you say you have..convince us! if possible connect those points to your working experience or what ever u are currently doing.

6. Be frank & humble. Dont be too proud of ur self. interviewers dont like it seriously. some interviewers have this mind set, when you say I can do this I can do that, I have this and this and that, I was the manager of this company and this company, and then when we interviewer see ur SPM is like 8Es, 6Cs.. haih we will think, you are just like tin kosong, bunyi saja bising tp tak ada isi.. aigoo... when you dont understand the question, do ask, tell them to rephrase. dont be shy to do so.

7. Lastly, if you think the time you spent with the interviewers is too short, then you dont get the job. sorry.

On the Move [what?!! stesen minyak ka?lol]

I know I havent been updating this blog for quite awhile (yeah..same all same all reasons hhaha) but yeah, kind of busy with work and everything so didnt really bother to write anything.

Im currently outstationed for work. Im writing in my hotel room. So this is the first time Im travelling alone for work. Im used to travelling alone actually during University so didnt have any prob travelling alone again this time.

My job needs me to travel alot lately.
Travelling is not really Im fond of when it comes to work (lol. duh! who does) but its different when you are on vacation.. When you're traveling because you're on vacation you'll feel like 'viola'! 'Im freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!' lol... but when it comes to work you're like 'Owh not again!..'..

yeah big difference. Well at least when you're traveling for work, everything is free!!! You're hotel (5 starsssssss :O).. transportation free.... flight tickets freeeee (business class?!!).. AND YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO PAY A PENNY...you can claim any other stuff you want to! fuh!. haha.

when you on vacation, everything you pay your self la.... huhu.. well everything have its pros & cons I guess...

Recently I have been starting to love ...well not really love..love is such a strong word... I have been starting to like traveling for work.. not really that much work when you're outstationed compare to when you're in the office.. and yeah, I like the accommodation :)

If there is another out stationed work next time, I might not hesitate taking it :D

Alhamdullilah here I am again.. writing in this blog.. as healthy as always. Praise to Allah for the good health..

Last time I wrote in the blog, I was at Bintulu taking care of my dad in the hospital but now I am in Skudai Johor. Alhamdulillah, my dad is healthier now. Though he is still hospitalized, hopefully for 3-4 more days he will be discharged.

Anyway, I was back at Uni since last Saturday night. My flight from KL was around 9pm and I arrived at Johor at around 10.15pm. My friends pick me up at the airport. Good friends they are. Where else can I find friends who would accompany me on a journey driving to KL late at night (11pm!!) because of emergency.. I’ll treasure them for the rest of my life, IRA, EPYT & NAD.. thanks..

Here in Johor Bahru, there are a few Korean Food restaurant if you notice. I sure do because I have been searching through the internet for a place where I can eat HALAL Korean food. But sadly enough most of them serve Pig and Alcohol. But A few months ago while my friends and I were Jalan jalan Cuci Mata tengok wayang at City Square JB, I discover Seoul Garden in CS!!.. I Knew that Seoul Garden is the only Korean restaurant in Malaysia that serves HALAL food but I didn’t know there were any in JB.. I only knew the closest one was probably in Melaka Pahlawan Mall.. So I was surprise + excited + shocked, and it felt like I wanted to dine in right away but it was Sunday!.. no student price.. So my friends and I decided to go on weekdays instead..thus we’ll get student price value and eat all you want buffet style!

That was like 2 months or a month ago, and until now just this afternoon we get the chance to go to CS and have a lunch there…

We took off from UTM around 1pm and arrive at CS about 2pm.. there was a little traffic jam..well its JB.. so we go straight away to Surau CS, perform our duty and then we went to SOEUL GARDEN…yippie!!

We started eating at about 2.30pm and finish at about 4.30..haha… it was BUFFET-EAT-ALL-YOU-WANT-BUT-DON’T-WASTE-ANY-OTHERWISE-YOU’LL-PAY-RM5-FOR-100GRAM, so ofcourse we took our time there and eat wisely..lol

There were so many types of Korean food there.. at your table you could either grill or boil your food in any type of soup you prefer (there were TOMYAM soup,Kimchi soup n other..we pick Kimchi Soup..yumyum). At Seoul Garden, you’ll have to pay fist before you eat.. For students with student card, you can get student price RM21.90 per person.. For our case, Me & epyt brought our matrix card but Nad & Ira forgot to bring them.luckly our cashier guy was kind enough to give all of us student price discount. Ngeeeeeee

I do enjoy the food there.. There were so many varieties of food from meat, chicken marinated to fresh salad and even ice creams and cendol..so many lah…

The total we had to pay was RM101.60 including tax.. but I think it was worth it..

Dalam ujian, ada nikmat sebenarnya. Yang penting, kita sentiasa memikirkan..sentiasa renungkan...sentiasa bersyukur dengan setiap nikmat walau sekecil mana sekalipun, yang Allah kurniakan kepada kita.

Tenanglah dalam menghadapi ujian. Ketenangan itu akan meringankan permasalahan. Kekalutan, kesedihan, keluhan, itu smua tidak akan membantu menyelesaikan masalah.

Setiap manusia ada bahagiannya masing2 dalam hidupnya. ada yang kita lihat Allah uji dengan begitu berat sekali.... yang tidak mampu kita tanggung klu ujian itu menimpa kita.

Tapi kita kekdang tidak sedar bahawa ada manusia lain yang rasa ujian yang menimpa kita amat berat pada mereka.

Sebenarnya Allah maha Adil ..maha mengetahui kemampuan setiap hambaNya. Ujian yang menimpa kita itu adalah yang mampu kita lalui. Percaya lah...

Allah juga telah mengatur perjalanan hidup kita dengan begitu cantik sekali. Hanya kita yang tidak menyedarinya...kerana kita leka merungut, mengeluh, menyesali ujian kesusahan yang telah ditimpakan kepada kita. Padahal, kita tidak mengetahui bahawa mungkin ujian itu untuk menghapus dosa kita...mungkin kerana Tuhan mahu memberikan yang lebih baik untuk kita... mungkin ..mungkin....mungkin... carilah hikmah di setiap ujian yang telah menimpa kita seblum ini, ketika ini mahupun yg selepas ini. Habis tidakpun, ujian2 itu akan memberikan kita pengalaman yg amat berharga, menjadikan kita seorang yang matang...seorang yang kuat iman, seorang yang tabah.

Bersyukurlah sentiasa...kerana dengan bersyukur, kita akan tabah melalui setiap ujian hidup ini.

Sekian. Moga semua mereka yang menderita diuji, akan mendapat Rahmat dan limpah kurnia dari Allah.

Ak nyer sampul cam sampul surat men kutip memane jek..haha..pastu siap ader merah biru line kat sisi sampul..mmg cam official letter pnyer sampul..wakakak.. ak pnyer tlisan cakar ayam tahap gaban tapi die nyer tulisan sgt halus dan tersusun rapi.. ske tgk!..

Stiap kali lepas kls, smue org bergegas berlarik ke gate skolah.. maklum lah smue eksaited nak balik.. ak ngn kengkwn slalu jln sme2 lalu padang skolah smpai gate skolah bru ktorg ikut haluan masing2.. ktorg takdela eksaited tahap cipan berlarik ke gate cam bebdk len..ktorg jln rileks jek coz buzy bergosip smbil jalan haha…ak slalu balik nek kete, abah ak amek. Ingt lg on the way masuk kete, nmpk bdk tue ngn mmber die kat kedai bli air kot.. ak tgk die dr jauh jek.. saje skodeng haha.. pastu tetbe die toleh nmpk ak terus sengih. Ak pun ape lg sengih la balik hehe..gatal!.. sweet sgt time tuh..sgt innocent.

Pernah skali ak smpai kne marah ngn mak die, coz ak nk ajak die g gathering kat pantai la ngn bebdk kls..huhu.. tapi esk nyer die g kls ak la, mintak maap mintak ampun pe smue sbb mak die garang lol… tapi ak xkisah la.. : )

Cuti cuti cuti..

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

Hi all. sorry I havent been updating frequently. like I said in the previous entry, I havent been able to get on9 that much. currently I'm having my semester break, in Putrajaya. and now I'm at Alamanda's Old town white coffe just for the sake of updating this blog.lol. no la, actually also for the sake of loging into my fb account which i havent been able to view for quite awhile.

My sem break actually starts on the 17th of nov but becoz of some family matters I havent been able to go back straight to bintulu.huuhu.. My dad had a stroke on sunday the same week. he was in johor baharu with my mum and my sis, so all of us had to stay back at jb to take care of him. he was admitted to sultanah aminah hospital bcoz of the stroke but luckly it was just a minor stroke. currently he's unable to walk properly, still needs support to walk. the minor stroke had affected his right brain so all of his right side body was weaken by it.

on the following tuesday he was much better thus me & my siblings decided to moved him to Putrajaya's hospital. It would be much nearer to my 2nd bro's my my sis house. all of us convoy to putrajaya with 3 cars. arrived at putrajaya late at night since we took off a lil late. it was quite tiring but still good to see my dad was much better. when we arrived at putrajay's hosp the doc told us that it was not necessary for him to be hospitalized. he was much better.

Now he still suffer from dizziness, he could walk properly if only the diziness is gone.Lets us just pray for him so that he'll be much better.

Anyway, besides taking care of my dad I'm also have been doing some reading. the one thing that I've wanted to do long time ago since october when the book came out. know which book i'm talking about?? hehe. of course la THE LOST SYMBOL. it took me awhile to get my hands on it. tthe book cost about rm100(hardback) so i was waiting for the paperback to be release but up untill now, the paperback is nowhere to be found so i just had to spend rm100 huhu...

well, i havent finish it yet..but to tell you the truth..up untill now..huhu... I'm quite disapointed with the book.. not quite as interesting as the previous da vinci code. The lost symbol is more about the masonic organization. actually before i read the lost symbol, i got my hands on a book about freemanson from islamic point of view. and during my time reading the lost symbol i was quite proud of my self coz I got to know so much about freemanson even b4 i read the lost symbol.hehe.

another agenda in my things to do for this sem break is to learn more on ASSEMBLY LANGUAGE & C++ programming. hopefully I'll get to finish my PIC coding huhu. wish me luck.

I do believe in the terms never ever give up.. try and try again.. and ever since UTM changed the grade point average code (2nd year, 1st sem), it has been quite hard for me to grab a spot in the Dean's List.

And today, Alhamdulillah I'm on the list again!.. Alhamdulillah.

Before this I got it twice during my 1st year and after that, eversince I got my 'kancil' (lol.. ternyata, padah akibat terlalu rajin merayau rayau dgn konco2ku lol) I've never got into the dean's list.. up until now. I am soooooooooooooooo thankful to Allah swt.

I got a message from Ham this morning, telling that the result is out. At first I was so lazy to get on9 and view my result cause i had a feeling that I'm just going to get another 3.33 (LOL).. you know, after seeing my senarai tampal a month before, i seriously didnt think I'm going to make it into the dean's list haha. but of course that didnt stop me from praying to Allah swt and still hoping I'll make it. tawakal jak la. I've struggled hard during studyweek and i'm not just gonna give up now. I've been sleepless during study week, and i believe that its not going to be a waste. I've been too far and I'm not just going to give up now.
And Alhamdulillah, my sleepless night, my struggle, all the caffeine that I've consumed (lol) was worth it.

What I would like to share here is that, Never Give Up. Try as hard as u can. if the 1st sem of 2nd yr u didnt make it, try again. if the 2nd sem of 2nd year also resulted the same, try again. if in the 1st sem of the 3rd year u didnt make it again, never give up! again work harder, struggle harder, doubled ur effort!. never stop praying to Allah swt for it. InsyAllah you WILL make it.

Cant wait to tell my parents, if it werent for them praying along for me & giving me everything to help me with my studies. I wouldnt have make it this far. Have to start fasting now, gotta repay my nazar.

I just got a respond from MLNG for my practical training. They gave me 14 days to give em the answer.

ABF or MLNG?

Lets see..
I ask my bro for advice and he said... he would pick MLNG.
WHY?
1. MLNG is bigger compare to ABF. MLNG - 8 plants, ABF- 2 plants.

I'm not sure yet how much allowance MLNG is going to give me but I'm sure they wont let me leave in JUly empty handed hoho.
